Although a mountainous country, there are many ‘flat’ routes 😉
Total kilometres driven so far: 1045km
Metres in altitude upwards: 6000m
Average speed: 19km/h
Stage lengths: 60 - 118km
Conclusion:
The wooden bike is still running, the frame was damaged, the fixing for the back-pedal brake was torn off. But I was able to repair it quite easily and I only need the back-pedal brake very rarely. And the 2-speed gearbox is probably not designed for higher forces, it no longer shifts reliably. Oh, and the speedometer with the wooden display is useless when the sun shines directly on it, but it still looks cool 😊
