This is me
Pedestrian, raspberry lover, balcony gardener, train passenger, jogger, dog lover, amateur photographer, handyman and do-it-yourselfer, paper fan, cyclist, hiker, mountain lover, guitar player, pilot, cat lover, car driver, wooden bicycle designer and builder, “cookie dough without baking” -eater, DIY fan, animal lover, pepakura lover... all this and much more.
My motivation
Learn new things, encourage others to “do it”. Do it yourself, a lot is possible if you just get started. Every step takes you further, even a step backwards! Many small steps often take me further than one big one.
Enthusiasm and passion are the beginning of all possibilities!
History of Papierolama
Papierolama is a one-man project.
It all started with wood, my father had a carpentry workshop, I trained as a machine mechanic myself, and today I work as a product developer, so I have a lot to do with 3D models. An ideal combination for me as a hobbyist. I started working with paper because I thought life needed to be simpler again 😉 Wood and metalworking often require special tools and knowledge, which excludes many people from working with them.
It's different with paper. Paper, scissors, a knife and glue can be found in most households.
So let's be creative together! Send me a photo of your Pepakura model, whether painted, decorated with airbrush, written on with text, made with special paper, it doesn't matter. Show everyone your creative side! Write me in the order which model you are missing, and maybe you will soon find it in my store.
I am aware that not everyone is so lucky. For them, having paper, writing utensils, knives or scissors lying around is not a matter of course. That's why I will donate 1 franc from every model sold to a charitable organization that supports the education of disadvantaged children. Let's work together to ensure that more people have a future in which they have the opportunity to build paper models. Together we can make a difference.
I support the Seeds association. You can find out more about Seeds here: https://seeds.ch/
I will always inform you about the donations at the end of the year here.

The Papierolama
It is an endangered species. Most animals reach a shoulder height of approx. 35 cm. Paper llamas come in monochrome or multicolored, except for pure black animals, there are all possible color combinations. Its paper-like appearance makes it so unique.
It is a very frugal animal, apart from a few gentle strokes it needs no further care. However, it does not like rain, snow, high humidity or direct sunlight.
In the event of danger, it remains very still, hoping not to attract attention in today's hectic world, and it is becoming increasingly successful at this, as people today only go through the world with their eyes on their smartphones. Anyone who is quiet and still is no longer noticed. Only those who are loud and waaaaay too busy are registered in the corner of their eye at best. 😊
The wild paper llama is already extinct. There are only a few specimens of the domesticated species left, so breeding is the only chance of survival. You too can help to make this beautiful animal more common again. The aim is for there to be at least 1000 paper llamas in the whole world again.
